Privacy Policy

Privacy by design. Quitaura works entirely on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your quit date, check-ins, moods and notes never leave your phone.

1. Data we store

The App stores the following data locally on your device only (in the app's private storage):

The habit you chose to quit and your quit date;
Optional price/frequency settings used to estimate savings;
Daily check-in entries (mood and optional note);
Relapse/restart history and notification preferences;
Language preference and premium status flag.

We do not operate a backend server for this data and cannot access it.

2. Data we do NOT collect

No account, email, name or sign-up of any kind;
No analytics or usage tracking SDKs;
No advertising identifiers, cookies or cross-app tracking;
No location, contacts, photos or health data (no HealthKit access);
No sale or sharing of personal data with third parties — there is nothing to share.

3. Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to validate your subscription status — it receives an anonymous app-user ID and your purchase receipts from Apple. RevenueCat does not receive your tracking data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Apple's privacy policy.

4. Notifications

Daily check-in reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They are not sent from a server and carry no data off your phone.

5. Data deletion

Deleting the App removes all locally stored data permanently. Because nothing is stored on our servers, there is nothing else to delete — you are always in full control.

6. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your region). Since we collect no personal data, we cannot identify users' ages; if you believe a child is using the App inappropriately, please contact us.

7. Security

Your data resides in the app's sandboxed storage, protected by iOS's built-in encryption and your device passcode. Since data is never transmitted, there is no transmission risk.

8. Changes to this policy

If we ever change how data is handled (for example, adding optional sync), we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent inside the App.
