Terms of Service

Last updated: September 12, 2025

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Quitaura mobile application (the "App"), operated by ARD Apps ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What Quitaura is

Quitaura is a self-tracking tool that counts the time since you quit a habit (such as vaping, smoking, alcohol or sugar), estimates money saved and shows general wellness milestones. The App stores your data locally on your device.

2. Not medical advice

Quitaura is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Health milestone descriptions are general wellness information only and may not apply to you. Quitting nicotine, alcohol or other substances can involve withdrawal symptoms — consult a qualified healthcare professional before and during quitting, especially if you have a medical condition. If you experience a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services.

3. Subscriptions and billing

4. Apple End User License Agreement

Your use of the iOS version of the App is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Where these Terms conflict with the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA prevails for the iOS app. You acknowledge that Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, and that Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you.

5. Acceptable use

6. Intellectual property

The App, its design, brand and content are owned by ARD Apps and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your own devices.

7. Your data

All tracking data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes that data — we cannot restore it. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will help you quit any habit, or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ARD Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any loss of data, revenue or health outcomes, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
